“The Sweetest Tee” Launches a Qroo.us Product Line

We’re happy to announce that we’ve partnered with The Sweetest Tee — a company owned and operated by fellow expats — to create products based on our popular memes about Mexico.

Linda and I have spent the last few weeks testing a few of their t-shirts and we love the quality. The material is super soft and light, which is perfect for the climate here.

There are only a few memes featured at this time but more will be added shortly. Here is the link to the Qroo.us products:

While you’re on the site, we encourage you to check out their other items too. They have some pretty cool stuff.

Let’s Wrap This Up

Any money that we earn from the sale of items will be used to cover the costs of operating this blog. Those costs have increased along with the traffic, but we’ve been reluctant to clutter up the site with advertisements.

So, if you’ve been looking for a way to show your support for the blog, and you just happen to be in the market for some quality Mexico-themed apparel, this is your lucky day!

By the way, if we see you wearing one of our products, we will come over and personally thank you for your support.

I originally wanted to write in this post that we would buy you a beer too, but Linda pointed out that if we did that, our friends would all start wearing Qroo.us shirts to happy hour just to get free drinks. I think she’s right, so we scratched that idea.

Love the great way you’ve found to finance your blog, Paul and Linda! We spend a lot of time down here, and the only advice we ever give to friends and acquaintances is: Check out and subscribe to qroo.us . . . nothing further needed! Kudos.

I hope they consider producing extra TALL sizes. Wider does not equate to taller,

    • Our unisex tees are long but we don’t offer the traditional extra tall sizes. Not b/c we don’t want to, we just haven’t been able to get them into our shop as of yet. We will continue looking though! My father is 6’4″ and I sent him a tee – let me find out what he thought of the length and get back to you. 🙂

  3. We are so excited!! If anyone has questions about sizing, products, shipping I can answer them. We want folks to feel comfortable ordering from our site so just let us know 🙂

  4. Great ideas…..the products to fund your blog and not cluttering it up with advertising. Not buying a beer for everyone you see wearing them….that’s still up for discussion. Enjoy your Q-Roo day!

    • Hahaha, the beer thing is still on the table. If only a handful of people end up buying something, I would really only be out the cost of a 6-pack. 🙂

  5. love the cotton totes! Ordered! Will see you in August!

  6. Hey Paul
We purchased the AT&T plan during our recent trip… but cannot get it to work back here in the US?
    Any ideas/

    • Turn on the data roaming. That usually fixes it. If you still have trouble, you might have to call the help desk. We just got back from the U.S. and it worked fine on both our phones.

  16. great idea! Your blog is so helpful it needs to keep going. Will be ordering stuff soon.

  17. OMG! When I saw that red hat I said I have to have one in view of the beating Mexico has taken here in the last year. GREAT CHOICE in color. It makes just the statement that needs to be heard: after working 50+ yrs, it is still impossible to ‘live the dream’ where I was born. Akumal is on my radar screen for my retirement. All the best successes to you, both!!

    Good job!

  19. Hello Paul and Linda,

I just ordered a QRoo “Tee,” partly because I wanted one and partly because I wanted to help support your terrific “Blog” site. Would also like to send a Paypal donation, so could I also have an address to send it to? Thanks.

    • Thank you very much, that’s very nice of you. I went ahead and put a Paypal donate button on the main page for the site:

On a PC, it’s in the side margin and on a phone/tablet, it’s at the very botttom.

      Thanks for supporting us 🙂
