Paul Kurtzweil (Q-Roo Paul) was a deputy sheriff in Florida for 25 years before retiring at the rank of lieutenant in 2015. He and his wife moved to Mexico looking to maximize their retirement income.   2. Hi Paul, great video, as always. A detail is that the SRE has not been issuing citizenships for one year now, due to COVID. They are not sure when they will start working again.

  3. Thank you for your informative video. I would like to know what are the pros and cons of Mexican citizenship? I curently have U.S citiznship. Will it be affected? Again, thank you.

    • The biggest pro is that you will be able to hold direct title over land located inside the restricted zone, and no, it will not affect your U.S. citizenship.
